Important updates to Dental Assistance, Orderly Services and Newborn Hearing Screening Strands

We're writing to you because there are a number of updates to various Health and Wellbeing Level 3 programmes, and you will have learners who are impacted by these changes. Updated versions of Dental Assistance, Orderly Services and Newborn Hearing Screening strands to be released early next year
New versions of the specific Health & Wellbeing (Level 3) programmes are being released on the following dates:
The NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) – Dental Assistance Thursday 26 January 2023 (last date of
enrolment in Version 1: 20 January 2023)
The NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) – Orderly Services Thursday 9 February 2023 (last date of enrolment in Version 1: 3 February 2023)
The NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) – Newborn Hearing Screening Monday 20 February 2023 (last date of enrolment in Version 1: 17 February 2023)
The last date of Assessment for VERSION 1 of these three programmes is 31 December 2023. We recommend that trainees complete their programmes by mid-November 2023. More information on specific changes will be released later this year.
We will
also contact trainees enrolled in these programmes to advise them of the changes.
